Moncada sidelined with jammed left thumb

GLENDALE, Ariz. — The top prospect in all of baseball is a bit dinged up.
Yoan Moncada, the highly touted Cuban infielder who saw some Major League time with the Boston Red Sox this year, jammed his left thumb swinging at an inside pitch Friday night in the Arizona Fall League and is expected to be out at least two more days.
