Hull edge past Bristol City

Harry Maguire and Michael Dawson scored headers either side of half-time to send Hull through to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup as they beat Bristol City 2-1 at Ashton Gate.
After two corners in quick succession in Tuesday night’s fourth-round tie, it was the second from Ryan Mason which found the head of Maguire, who was lurking at the back post, and he stooped to head beyond Richard O’Donnell two minutes before the break.
