Ridgewell arrested in US

Liam Ridgewell has been arrested for drink-driving in America after rushing to the aid of Portland Timbers team-mate Jake Gleeson following a late-night car crash.
Ridgewell, the former Birmingham and West Bromwich Albion defender, failed a roadside sobriety test after driving to pick up Gleeson from the scene of a two-vehicle accident.
Both men were booked for driving under the influence of intoxicants, released on $7,500 bond and ordered to appear in court on November 16.
Their arrests come a day after the defending MLS Cup champions were eliminated …
