Matchday 9 of La Liga’s 2016-17 season provided four matches with 14 combined goals on Saturday to start Spain’s soccer weekend on an exciting note.

Espanyol 3, Eibar 3
Espanyol overcame a 3-0 deficit with three goals in the final 26 minutes to shock Eibar and salvage a point with a draw.
Sergi Enrich got Eibar on the board 23 minutes into the match, and a Diego Reyes own goal doubled the advantage four minutes later.
Kike looked like he put the game out of reach just a minute before halftime, but Espanyol fought back.
In the 64th minute, Hernan Perez grabbed Espanyol’s first score, which was followed up by Pablo Piatti’s strike nine minutes later.
Espanyol found its equalizer during the second minute of stoppage time, when Leo Baptistao tucked a low shot from 25 yards out just inside the left post.
