Barcelona Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Steven N’Zonzi and Yerry Mina

Barcelona are reportedly hoping to lure Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi to the Camp Nou next year as they seek cover for star anchor Sergio Busquets. Meanwhile, the Blaugrana have agreed a deal to sign Colombian Yerry Mina.
Francisco Rico and Ignasi Oliva of Goal reported Barca’s interest in N’Zonzi “is real,” but Sevilla are eager to agree a new contract with their holding star, who has taken his game to new heights under manager Jorge Sampaoli.
Since Sampaoli’s arrival at the Sanchez Pizjuan, N’Zonzi has taken root as Sevilla’s sole holding midfielder in front of the defence to great effect, much like the position Busquets occupies at the Camp Nou.
Bleacher Report’s Tim Collins also recently commented on the versatility this gives Sevilla when it comes to the transition between attack and defence:
