Martin Truex Jr. takes full responsibility for triggering a multi-car accident late in Sunday’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Truex made contact with Austin Dillon on one of the race’s final restarts, which caused the Richard Childress Racing driver to spin and make hard contact with the inside wall. The impact triggered a huge accident that swept up Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and others – causing a red flag.
Truex made no excuses about his role in the crash.
