What happens in St. Maarten stays in St. Maarten, unless of course you win the first World Series of Poker Circuit Event there, the WSOP Caribbean Festival.
It is the only Caribbean stop of the tour. This new international stop at St. Maarten was added to the World Series of Poker Circuit and will use Sonesta Maho Beach Resort’s Casino Royale as its venue from Nov. 3 through Nov. 16.
Thirty-eight tournaments are scheduled, with nine WSOPC Ring Events and the $250,000-payout Championship Event. The main event has a $1,675 buy-in. Cash games will be available daily from 3 p.m. to 6 a.m.
St. Maarten, known for its distinctly French and Dutch culture, gourmet restaurants and varied gaming options, can be the perfect playground for poker players.
