WC round-up: Portugal hit six

Andre Silva notched a first-half hat-trick as Portugal strolled to a 6-0 win against the Faroe Islands in Torshavn.
Silva punished sloppy defending from the hosts with a 12th-minute strike and 22nd-minute header before completing his treble by adding a side-footed effort eight minutes prior to the break.
Cristiano Ronaldo then got in on the act in the 65th minute, cracking the ball in from the edge of the box, and Portugal’s second 6-0 triumph in just a few days was wrapped up in stoppage time by goals from substitute Joao Moutinho and Joao Cancelo.
