Serbia – Ivan Demcesen gets MVP of the Week award for Serbian 2MLS

IvanDemcesen Ivan Demcesen (215-C-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for league’s leader Jagodina and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com 2MLS Player of the Week award for round 1.The 25-year old center had the game-high 32 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Jagodina in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Kolubara (#10, 0-1), the league’s bottom-ranked team 97-83. It allowed Jagodina to jump to the first place in the Serbian 2MLS. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Jagodina won just one (their first) game.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young forward Nikola Kostic (202-F-96, agency: BeoBasket) of Radnicki 1950. Kostic impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Radnicki 1950 to edge Sloboda Uzice (0-1) by 3 points 80-77. …
