Mbokani strikes twice as DR Congo rout Libya

Striker Dieumerci Mbokani scored a brace as DR Congo thumped Libya 4-0 in their Group A clash on Saturday at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa. The Hull City forward, back in the national squad after renouncing his retirement last March, netted in either half whilst Jonathan Bolingi and Firmin Mubele each scored to ensure victory. It was a deserving victory for the Congolese who outplayed their guests by a mile. The Leopards went up after only five minutes through Mbokani who struck from his left after Yannick Bolasie had squared him.
