WWE Superstars Recap: Darren Young Gets A Victory, Jinder Mahal, Neville Vs. Curtis Axel

The Superstars opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Darren Young (w/Bob Backlund) and Jinder Mahal make their entrances as Tom Philips and Corey Graves check in on commentary.

Young hits a pair of fireman’s carries on Mahal while maintaining a wrist lock as well. Mahal punches Young prior to locking in a headlock. Young throws Mahal to the ropes, Mahal returns with a shoulder block. Mahal connects with a forearm on Young. Young kicks Mahal before hitting a swinging neck breaker. Young pins Mahal for a one count. Mahal backs into the corner, as Young climbs to the second rope. Young punches Mahal in the corner several times, before Mahal escapes from underneath him. Mahal punches the back of Young’s leg. Mahal then hits several knee drops on Young on the mat. Mahal pins Young for a two count. Mahal strikes Young several times. Mahal throws Young into the turnbuckles. Mahal connects with a forearm to Young in the corner before pinning him for a two count. Mahal locks in a chinlock briefly before slamming Young to the mat. Mahal hits another knee drop on Young prior to pinning him for another two count. Mahal locks in a headlock on Young. Young fights out of it and eventually hits a pair of belly-to-belly overhead suplexes on Mahal. Mahal rolls out to the ring apron. Young follows Mahal.
