Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane says he welcomes Cristiano Ronaldo’s public displays of disgruntlement at being substituted.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner was unhappy after he was hooked during Real’s 2-2 draw away to Las Palmas, venting his frustration with a tirade aimed for his boss.
Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claimed it was one of the first times in Ronaldo’s seven-year spell at Madrid that he had been substituted due to tactical reasons.
“It’s good he gets annoyed when I substitute him,” Zidane told French radio station RMC.
