Harvick Confident at Charlotte

Share: Kevin Harvick brings a sense of optimism into Saturday night’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Harvick made it into the second round of the Chase with his win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and is now one of twelve drivers still in contention for this year’s Sprint Cup Series championship. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver has won at each of the three tracks that comprise the Round of 12 including Charlotte, where he last won in 2014 on his way to the title. “Well, I didn’t actually know that, but it’s nice to know that you can go to any of these racetracks and win because we have,” Harvick said when reminded of his success at Charlotte, Kansas Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, the three tracks in this round. “They’re all hard to win at. “I think as you look at going to Charlotte, really trying to put the car back in victory lane is the first goal.
