MariuszKonopatzki Guard Mariusz Konopatzki (192-G-96) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Asseco II, receiving a Eurobasket.com 2Liga Player of the Week award for round 2.The 20-year old player recorded a triple-double of 29 points adding also 14 rebounds and 12 assists, while his team beat Tarnovia (#12, 0-2) 93-84. It allowed Asseco II to take over top position in the Polish 2Liga. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Asseco II won both games without losing any. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Konopatzki had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It’s his second year at Asseco II and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Mariusz Konopatzki has solid league stats.
