Strasburg throws off flat ground at workout

WASHINGTON — Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg was throwing off flat ground during the club’s workout on Tuesday at Nationals Park, but he did nothing more than that.
Strasburg hasn’t pitched in a game since straining the flexor mass in his right arm on Sept. 7 against the Braves.
