Talladega Remembers MRN’s Barney Hall

Talladega, Ala. – Talladega Superspeedway has renamed Motor Racing Network’s trackside broadcast booth in honor of the late Barney Hall, MRN’s Hall of Fame announcer who passed away earlier this year.
Hall – who coined the phrase, “They don’t race ’em anywhere in the world like they do at Talladega,” will now forever be a part of the venue with the dedication and naming of the “Barney Hall MRN Booth,” which sits high atop the start/finish line at the 2.66-mile Alabama oval.
When MRN’s team of announcers returns to Talladega Superspeedway later this month, they’ll perform their weekend duties from the booth named in honor of Hall, who first covered racing there in 1970.
