NEW YORK — The Orioles are in the postseason.
Led by two homers from catcher Matt Wieters, the O’s clinched an American League Wild Card spot with a 5-2 series victory over New York in Sunday’s regular-season finale at Yankee Stadium.
Should Toronto, which was playing Boston, win its game over the Red Sox, the Blue Jays and Orioles would face off in the Wild Card Game on Tuesday at Rogers Centre. The O’s would host the Wild Card Game if Toronto loses.
