WWE Main Event Recap: Apollo Crews Gets A Win, Tyler Breeze, Kane Vs. Baron Corbin

The Main Event opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Apollo Crews and Tyler Breeze make their entrances as Tom Philips and David Otunga check in on commentary.

Apollo Crews vs. Tyler Breeze

They lock up. Crews backs Breeze into the corner. They lock up again. Breeze locks in a headlock on Crews. Crews reverses it into a headlock of his own. Breeze throws Crews to the ropes, Crews does a forward handspring over Breeze. Crews dropkicks Breeze prior to pinning him for a one count. Breeze hides behind the referee before kicking Crews and slamming his head into the turnbuckle. Breeze stomps Crews several times in the corner. Breeze hits a backdrop on Crews prior to pinning him for a two count. Breeze hits a forearm on Crews before pinning him for a one count. Breeze locks in a facelock on Crews. Crews fights out of it. Crews eventually spears Breeze into the corner several times. Crews mounts Breeze and punches him several times in the corner. Breeze escapes under Crews before hitting a supermodel kick to take him down to the mat as we head into a commercial break.

Breeze stomps Crews’ leg as we return from commercial. Breeze connects with a forearm to Crews before pinning him for a two count. Breeze briefly locks in a leg lock on Crews. Crews fights out of it. Crews clotheslines Breeze. Crews punches Breeze several times before kicking him as well. Breeze slides out to the ring apron. Breeze snaps Crews’ neck on the top rope. Breeze ascends the turnbuckle. Crews catches Breeze after he comes off the turnbuckle and power slams him. Crews pins Breeze for a two count. Breeze kicks Crews in the shin. Breeze rolls Crews into a Half …
