Gareth Southgate has been appointed interim England manager on Tuesday following Sam Allardyce’s resignation.
The FA relayed the news that Southgate would replace Allardyce after his abrupt exit due to a Telegraph sting.
Most pressingly, Southgate, 46, has very little time to select his England squad for two upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
