Twins reportedly to hire Falvey as president

MINNEAPOLIS — The Twins are set to hire Indians assistant general manager Derek Falvey as their new president of baseball operations, according to multiple reports.

The Twins, however, have not confirmed the hiring of Falvey, who has been with Cleveland since 2007. A source familiar with the Twins’ search said the “process is still ongoing.” The Twins are also expected to hire a general manager who will report to Falvey.
