Hyland calls time on boxing

Former world title challenger Patrick Hyland has announced his retirement from professional boxing.
The 33-year-old (31-3-0) has hung up his gloves after suffering back-to-back stoppage defeats earlier this year.
Hyland’s bid to win the WBC featherweight title was ended in two rounds by Gary Russell Jnr in April and he was then stopped in nine by Josh Warrington in his last fight in July.
