2015-16 Season: After making his NHL debut in the 2014-15 playoffs, Scott Mayfield started the 2015-16 season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He stayed in Bridgeport until Jan. 9, when he made his season debut against the Philadelphia Flyers. In total, Mayfield played six games with the Islanders last season, scoring his first-career NHL goal against the Buffalo Sabres on Apr. 9.
