Segura has second straight two-homer game

PHOENIX — Jean Segura has been the D-backs’ most consistent hitter this season, batting a team-high .317 and providing a steady presence in the leadoff spot. Right now, he’s also consistently hitting home runs.
Segura became the first player in franchise history to hit a leadoff homer in consecutive games. Then, he became the third to hit a pair of homers in back-to-back games in Arizona’s 11-6 win over the Rockies on Wednesday night at Chase Field.
“I’m not trying to go out there and hit a homer, I just go out there trying to put a good at-bat, trying the best I can to get on base ,” said Segura, who went 5-for-6 with three RBIs and three runs. “It feels pretty good.”
