D-backs to begin ’17 season at home, close it on road

PHOENIX — The D-backs will begin their 20th season by hosting the Giants at Chase Field in one of three Opening Day games on Sunday, April 2, to begin the 2017 Major League Baseball regular season.
MLB released the 2017 regular-season schedule on Wednesday. D-backs-Giants is one of two divisional matchups that will air on ESPN to open the season on April 2.
