Season likely over, Morrison to have MRI on wrist

TORONTO — Logan Morrison suffered a tendon strain of his left wrist (ECU strain) while swinging at a pitch in the fourth inning of Sunday afternoon’s game at Yankee Stadium.
Tentatively, the plan is for the first baseman/DH to fly to the Tampa Bay area on Wednesday where he will have an MRI and be seen by hand specialist Dr. Doug Carlan.
Though it has yet to be determined if surgery will be required, he is expected to be out for the remainder of the season. Morrison will be a free agent after the season and noted of his plight: “Yeah, it [stinks].”
