ST. LOUIS — Addison Russell and Jason Heyward did their part to protect Kyle Hendricks’ bid for a no-hitter on Monday night.
Hendricks faced the minimum number of batters through five innings; the only baserunner at that point was Yadier Molina, who walked with one out in the second but was out when Jedd Gyorko grounded into an inning-ending double play.
