Promoter Eddie Hearn claims Gennady Golovkin looks “drawn in the face” ahead of Saturday’s world middleweight title clash with Kell Brook – live on Sky Sports Box Office.
The final press conference was a respectful affair between the fighters themselves but one barbed remark from Golovkin’s trainer Abel Sanchez brought about the first signs of animosity between the camps.
Sanchez dubbed Brook’s step-up from IBF world welterweight champion to middleweight as “a science experiment” but Hearn believes cracks are appearing in both the condition of the WBA Super, WBC and IBF champion and the confidence of his team.
