KANSAS CITY – Joel Edmundson, Bob Plager and Louie are spending a few days in Kansas City this week to promote the preseason game between the Blues and the Washington Capitals at Sprint Center on Oct. 5.
But before the real work begins on Wednesday – the group will do five TV / radio interviews, two children’s hospital visits and a youth hockey clinic – they had to find time to relax and well, just kick it with two St. Louis natives.
On Tuesday afternoon, Edmundson, Plager and Louie dropped by Children’s Mercy Park – the home of Major League Soccer’s Sporting KC – and got a tour of the stadium from Sporting KC star Brad Davis – a native of St. Charles and a die-hard Blues fan – and USL player Tommy Meyer.
