Jungmann rejoins Brewers with clearer mind

MILWAUKEE — Taylor Jungmann is finishing his trying season where it began: Back in the big leagues.
The former first-round Draft pick, who opened the year as Milwaukee’s No. 3 starter but was demoted to the Minors after a series of poor starts, was among the team’s second round of September callups on Tuesday. The Brewers promoted Jungmann from Double-A Huntsville and fellow right-hander Damien Magnifico from Triple-A Colorado Springs to bolster the bullpen. They also called up an extra catcher, Andrew Susac, from Colorado Springs.
Jungmann was 0-4 with a 9.15 ERA in five Brewers starts before his April 29 demotion to Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he had a 9.87 ERA in eight starts.
