Leading Investec Derby contender Douglas Macarthur could return to action in the Willis Towers Watson Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.
His trainer Aidan O’Brien has dominated the Group Three mile contest, winning the last six renewals, including with subsequent Derby hero Australia in 2013.
Douglas Macarthur, a son of Galileo, came forward markedly from his racecourse bow to impress in winning over the course and distance in July.
