Rasmus will come off DL, rejoin Astros vs. A’s

HOUSTON — The Astros plan to activate outfielder Colby Rasmus from the 15-day disabled prior to Tuesday’s game against the A’s at Minute Maid Park. Right-hander Brad Peacock will be optioned to Triple-A Fresno to make room for the veteran outfielder.
Rasmus has been out since Aug. 4 after dealing for weeks with a cyst in his right ear that eventually required surgery on Aug. 10. He was in a 3-for-66 slump prior to going on the …
