West Ham’s Burke joins Wigan

Reece Burke has joined Wigan on a season-long loan just over a week after signing a four-year deal at West Ham.
The 19-year-old is eager to gain more first-team football in the Sky Bet Championship after signing a new long-term contract to keep him at the London Stadium until 2020.
Burke spent last season on loan at Bradford City, where he earned the Player of the Year award at the club, but enjoyed a successful pre-season with the Hammers and started the first leg of their Europa League tie against Astra …
