Sergio Aguero Charged by FA for Elbow on Winston Reid: Latest Comments, Reaction

Sergio Aguero has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association after he was found guilty of violent conduct following a clash with Winston Reid during Sunday’s 3-1 victory over West Ham United.
The Argentina international appeared to elbow Reid in the face after backing into the Hammers defender, and the FA confirmed on Tuesday that City’s striker had been charged and that he has until 6 p.m. on Wednesday to reply to the charge.
Referee Andre Marriner didn’t punish Aguero at the time of the alleged offence, but the FA has decided to take retrospective action on the matter, suspending manager Pep Guardiola’s star forward for the offence.
Former Manchester City and England winger Trevor Sinclair believed Aguero wasn’t deserving of punishment for the incident, …
