Mawson medical at Swansea

Barnsley defender Alfie Mawson is expected to complete his move to Swansea on Tuesday, according to Sky sources.
We reported on Sunday that the 22-year-old was close to completing his transfer from Oakwell to the Liberty Stadium with personal terms almost agreed. The fee is understood to be worth up to £5m.
Mawson was withdrawn from Barnsley’s squad to face Rotherham at the weekend, although the Tykes still impressed at the back with a 4-0 win in the South Yorkshire Championship derby.
