Ter Stegen breaks La Liga record

Barcelona’s outfield players have long been renowned for their immaculate distribution skills, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen proved just how good their goalkeepers are with the ball at their feet.
The highly regarded Germany international, who is now Barcelona’s No 1 following the recent departure of Claudio Bravo to Manchester City, broke a 10-year La Liga record against Athletic Bilbao, on Sunday.
With Barvo having previously been Luis Enrique’s first choice in La Liga, Ter Stegen was making only his eighth top-flight appearance in the past two years for the club, not that it showed in difficult conditions at the San Mames.
