Longoria goes to bat for animal shelter

BOSTON — Evan Longoria is passionate about a cause, so he wants to call attention to the online auction to benefit Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St. Petersburg.
“The auction’s going well so far,” Longoria said. “It just launched yesterday. It’s all stuff that I collected from guys around the league. A lot of them are my favorite players.”
