Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Christian Pulisic and Mamadou Sakho Rumours

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly rejected Liverpool’s late approach to sign Christian Pulisic as manager Jurgen Klopp seeks a reunion with the youngster. Meanwhile, Mamadou Sakho has turned down a move to Stoke City.

According to German newspaper Kicker, the Black and Yellows rebuffed the Reds’ opening offer to sign Pulisic, who has earned rave reviews since moving to Signal Iduna Park in 2015 (h/t Liverpool Echo’s Kristian Walsh).

The 17-year-old has made 12 senior appearances for the Bundesliga giants since moving to Germany a little more than 18 months ago, earning six caps for the United States national team since then.

Liverpool blogger Viktor Fagerstrom also sourced Kicker and added that if Dortmund were to negotiate a departure for their teenage dynamo, it couldn’t be on temporary terms:
