The latest BE’s Baddest was a clash between two of the all time great Welterweights, with Matt Hughes taking on Jake Shields. The #3 ranked Shields made it a battle, but in the end, he didn’t have enough to take out Hughes, one of the UFC’s wrestling pioneers. Hughes takes the win 50-27. With that, our first Elite 8 fight is set as it will be Matt Hughes vs. Frankie Edgar with a Final 4 spot on the line.
