Isobel Pooley has head shaved for charity

British high jumper Isobel Pooley has ‘braved the shave’ and had her hair cut off to raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Commonwealth silver medallist hopes to raise at least £1000 and following the shave, which took place at the Farnham Community Games in Surrey on Monday (August 29), the 23-year-old had almost hit her target.
Pooley has suffered an ankle injury this summer which ended her hopes of competing at the Rio Olympic Games and she instead switched her focus to charity fundraising.
