Burrows plots path for Markaz

Owen Burrows has ruled out a quick return to action at Doncaster’s St Leger meeting for Markaz after he was awarded the Group Two Golden Peitsche at Baden-Baden on Sunday.
The dual Group Three winner crossed the line in second, but first-past-the-post Donnerschlag was placed fourth after he was adjudged to have interfered with David O’Meara’s Watchable.
