Paul Kruger Reportedly to Be Cut by Browns: Latest Comments and Reaction

As part of the preseason roster trimming, the Cleveland Browns are expected to cut linebacker Paul Kruger.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported Monday that Kruger will be part of the Browns’ cuts as they get their roster down to 75 players. Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal confirmed the report, adding the move is expected to be officially announced at some point Monday morning.
The 30-year-old Kruger had a precipitous drop in performance from 2014 to 2015. His 11 sacks two years ago were tied for 12th in the NFL.
Last year, Kruger’s 2.5 sacks were his fewest in a season in which he played all 16 games.
