Rueben Randle, Chris Givens Cut by Eagles: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

A pair of notable wide receivers were involved in the Philadelphia Eagles’ first round of cuts Sunday.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, Philadelphia released both Rueben Randle and Chris Givens as the team moved from 90 players to 75 after its third preseason game.
Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News provided his thoughts on the moves:
Eagles release Rueben Randle and Chris Givens. Not surprised based on play.

Neither player had established himself during the preseason. Givens had one catch for 19 yards in Saturday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, while Randle had two catches for 10 yards.
