Guerra eager to rejoin Brewers’ rotation

MILWAUKEE — Brewers right-hander Junior Guerra was back to Milwaukee on Sunday after navigating a Minor League rehab start, and he said he expects to rejoin Milwaukee’s rotation on Friday in Pittsburgh.
That assignment remained tentative because manager Craig Counsell had yet to set his projected pitching rotation for the Sept. 2-4 series, which coincides with the start of expanded rosters. Guerra, coming off a 55-pitch outing for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday, must first check out medically.
