Anita Wlodarczyk improves own world hammer record to 82.98m

Less than two weeks after breaking her own world hammer record at the Rio Olympic Games, Anita Wlodarczyk improved it again, this time to 82.98m at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Warsaw.
The two-time world champion is the only woman to have thrown over 80 metres and Wlodarczyk has now done so in five competitions, her mark in Warsaw adding 69cm to her previous best.
