West Brom, Boro in stalemate

Middlesbrough continued their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after a 0-0 draw at West Brom in a game where chances were few and far between.
The hosts had the better of the first half, with James McClean denied by a fine save from Brad Guzan, before Salomon Rondon went close to connecting with a dangerous cross.
After the interval Saido Berahino made an appearance, with boos ringing from a section of the home faithful unhappy at the 23-year-old’s conduct in seeking a move away from the Hawthorns, but he couldn’t inspire his side to victory.
The result sees Boro climb into the top six, while the Baggies are up to 10th.
