Murphy makes Newcastle move

Daryl Murphy has become Newcastle United’s latest signing, arriving from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old has agreed a two-year contract at St James’ Park and becomes the 10th new face in the Magpies’ first-team squad this summer.
During five seasons at Portman Road, Murphy scored 67 goals in 225 appearances, with 50 of those coming in the last three seasons.
