They said what?! Pros react to Pettis’ late guillotine choke on Oliveira

Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis hasn’t been able to put on a show in his last few fights, losing three decisions in a row. Charles Oliveira started the fight with the same game plan as Pettis’ previous opponents, pressing the takedown early. When Oliveira started to gas, Pettis nearly finished him with a series of hard body kicks and brutal ground and pound.
Pettis lost momentum in the second round when Oliveira took control in the clinch and on the ground. Pettis started to get his groove back in the third round after reversing Oliveira on the ground. Pettis then defended the takedown with a guillotine choke, locked it in a finished the Brazilian submission ace, sealing a much-needed win in his featherweight debut.
