Allardyce set to name squad

Sam Allardyce will name his first squad since taking over as England manager on Sunday night.
The former Bolton, West Ham and Sunderland boss took over from Roy Hodgson last month in the wake of England’s disappointing exit from Euro 2016 at the hands of Iceland.
England play their first World Cup 2018 qualifier against Slovakia in Trnava on September 4, with Allardyce having reportedly passed up the chance to play a friendly – Croatia had been mooted as an opponent – at Wembley three days before.
Allardyce inherits a squad looking to bounce back from their summer disappointment, but it remains to be seen if he will make a host of changes.
