Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin felt let down by his team’s first-half performance as they went down to a 2-1 defeat at Premier League champions Leicester.
The hosts took the lead when Jamie Vardy finished off a typically efficient counter-attack before captain Wes Morgan doubled the advantage early in the second half.
Riyad Mahrez wasted a chance to make it three when the winger’s penalty was saved by Lukasz Fabianski before Leroy Fer’s 80th-minute goal for Swansea came too late to rescue a point for the visitors at the King Power Stadium.
