Hibernian maintained their perfect start to the Scottish Championship season with a 4-0 demolition of Morton.

Alan Stubbs’ side made it four wins from four with a ruthless display of finishing, Andrew Shinnie sending them on the way to victory with a 29th-minute opener.

Grant Holt made it 2-0 four minutes before half-time with a superb header from a tight angle and another header from Jason Cummings nine minutes after the break ended the game as a contest.

Morton failed to register an effort on target throughout the 90 minutes and conceded a fourth with 16 minutes remaining when Brian Graham headed a Cummings corner past Derek Gaston.
